1986 Yamaha Big Wheel 80cc
‘Big Wheels’
SOLD – My very first motorcyle! The Yamaha Big Wheel, a fat tire bike featuring the 80cc reed induction 2-stroke motor and 3 speed automatic transmission. The Big Wheel name is somewhat self-explanatory, the big tires on this bike made it easy to trek over plenty of terrain – while not the fastest bike, it sure is fun to take this for a cruise. The automatic transmission paired to a pretty much indestructible 2-stroke was hours of fun. We kept this bike in the family even letting my daughters ride it until 2020 when my father sold it after my mother’s passing. Great memories!
